So as you may already know, Dust & Dance is a very proud supporter of YoungMinds – a fantastic mental health charity for young people – and 10% of the profits from each pot of glitter sold by Dust & Dance is donated to this excellent cause.
This October, to coincide with World Mental Health Day (Monday 10th October), YoungMinds are raising awareness for children and young people’s mental health through their new #HelloYellow campaign.
YoungMinds would like you to join the campaign on World Mental Health Day by wearing something yellow, sharing your tips to look after your mental health, and donating £1 to the charity.
Now as I happen to know you all love to wear glitter, from now until October 11th, for every Lion Tamer glitter (this is the yellow, white & gold dots) sold at dustanddance.com, Dust & Dance will donate £1 straight to YoungMinds.
Then, to join the campaign, take a photo of you and your mates wearing yellow, tag @YoungMindsUK and share our #HelloYellow tips for looking after your mental health. & if you’re wearing glitter don’t forget to tag Dust & Dance for a regram to help spread the word of the #helloyellow campaign!
Nearly 80,000 children and young people suffer from severe depression and on average, three children in every classroom in the UK have a diagnosable mental health disorder. YoungMinds want to put a spotlight on young people’s mental health and get everyone joining in on the conversation.
Whether you are a school, individual, group of friends or a company, you can get involved by downloading the free poster, donating to YoungMinds and saying #HelloYellow to get people talking about mental health.
